Check the hardware
- Type X2 uses PCIe card K91X1209A / J9100636A. Type X3 uses K91X1217C / J9100638A plus connector board K92X0281C / J9200167C.
- The microcontroller board connects to the DMAC card. J9100634A with a JAMMA edge and J9100633A without the edge are supported. On the K91X1243A variant, buttons 5–8 do not respond.
Install the kernel driver
- Obtain the appropriate driver package from your own working Type X2/X3 cabinet. Type X2 uses
oem1.infandiDmacDrv32.sys. Type X3 usesidmacdrv64.inf,iDmacDrv64.sys,iDmacDrv64.catandidmacdrv64.PNF. - In Device Manager, right-click the DMAC device, choose Update driver and browse to the extracted driver folder.
- The current implementation accesses the installed iDmacDrv kernel driver directly. It does not require a separate
iDmacDrv32.dlloriDmacDrv64.dllalongside the app.
Detection and watchdog
- Check Device Manager for iDmacDrv if the board is not found. Try running the app as Administrator.
- If
COM2is connected to a JVS board in the cabinet, leave it connected; the app feeds its watchdog automatically.
