ACCOUNT PRIVACY / 6 NOVEMBER 2026
Your account information.
When you register, Arcade IO Emulator stores your name, email address, email verification status and a password hash. We don’t store your password in plain text.
Sessions and security
Signing in sets essential cookies that keep you signed in. Sessions last up to seven days. We store session records and security information such as IP address and browser information to authenticate requests and limit abuse. Signing out revokes the current session. Resetting your password revokes existing sessions.
Hosting and email
DigitalOcean hosts the website and database. Account data is held in an Arcade IO database on a PostgreSQL cluster also used by Streamchum, with separate database credentials. Transpond delivers verification and password-reset emails using the shared Streamchum email service. These emails contain your name, email address and a time-limited account link. They may come from the existing Streamchum sender address with the Arcade IO Emulator display name.
Your choices
Account records remain while your account is active. For an account access or deletion request, contact the project through the Arcade IO Discord community. Deleting an account from the live database may leave copies in the hosting provider’s backups until those backups expire.
Your account lets you manage licence purchases, machine codes and annual renewals. Downloads and community links open third-party services governed by their own privacy policies. Stripe processes annual subscription payments and stores payment details; we do not store card numbers. We store your Stripe customer, checkout, subscription and invoice identifiers, payment periods, machine codes, licence requests and supplied licence files to manage your purchases and renewals. Your account lets you manage payment details and cancel future renewals through Stripe.
