Connect the board

1. Connect the original main I/O board to your PC by USB, keeping the cabinet’s existing control harness connected.
2. Launch the app and let it detect the board. If detection fails, choose Raw Thrills to open its setup instructions.
3. Follow any prerequisite prompts, then check steering, pedals and buttons on the dashboard and calibrate the available axes.

Force feedback

1. The Raw Thrills 500-00037 steering motor uses a separate LPT connection. Controls can work without this connection, but that motor will not provide force feedback.
2. For that LPT setup, the app’s guide specifies the address range 0378–037F. Check the port resources in Device Manager and, where applicable, BIOS. This requirement is specific to that motor interface.

If the board is not detected

1. Check the board’s USB connection and try another cable or port. RIO and JAMMA configurations differ; confirm your exact board and motor in the hardware guide.
