USB driver
- Connect P3IO by USB. The device is
VID 1CCF / PID 8008. - A cabinet with the Konami P3IO driver can keep it. Otherwise use the app’s WinUSB prompt to open Zadig.
- Choose Options → List All Devices and select the P3IO with the matching hardware ID; it may appear as python3 I/O board. Choose WinUSB and install or replace the driver, then return to the app.
Pads and lighting
- Test both players’ pads, start and menu buttons.
- Pad arrow lights and bass neons use the separate EXTIO board. Enter its COM port in P3IO Cabinet Settings; EXTIO communicates at
38400baud. - Leaving EXTIO COM port blank disables that lighting connection while the pads can still play. P3IO support is in beta.
